Donna Hollopeter

Donna is associate director of Global Ministries, and is also in charge of the Women's Missionary Fellowship. She has served on the Global Ministries staff since October 1993.

Donna grew up in Bloomsburg, Pa., and graduated from Bloomsburg University with a degree in Education. She also holds a Masters in Education from Sant Francis University in Fort Wayne, Ind. When she was appointed to the Global Ministries staff, she was principal of a Christian school.

Donna and her husband, Jason, met in Pennsylvania. At the time, Jason was pastoring four United Methodist churches. Two years after their wedding, they joined the United Brethren church and began serving these UB churches:

• Stryker UB church in Bryan, Ohio.
• The Pioneer, Ohio, UB church.
• 14 years at Emmanuel UB church in Toledo, Ohio.
• A one-year interim pastorate at Alexandria UB, Innisdale, Ohio, after Donna joined the missions staff.
• The Corunna UB church (Corunna, Ind.) since 1994.

Donna and Jason have three daughters.

• Jennifer and her family live in Beaverston, Mich.
• Julie and her family live in China Grove, N.C.
• Jessica graduated from Huntington University in May 2008.

Donna and Jason enjoy gardening and camping. Donna is a big Nascar fan, particularly following Jeff Burton. That's because Julie's husband builds Jeff Burton's race cars as the "fabricator," doing the sheet metal work for the car body.

Jason and Donna have traveled all over the world on behalf of Global Ministries. They live in Auburn, Ind.
